Step-by-step pairs
— Path planner logic
The route planner explores multi-generation lineages using the game's actual breeding mechanics: unique pairing table overrides first, followed by average power calculations with nearest-rank resolution and tie breaking. In box mode, calculations draw exclusively from species marked in your inventory, ensuring every initial leaf node in the graph is an owned Pal. Intermediate offspring can serve as parents in subsequent generations, and route chips summarize the minimum eggs required.
Lineage trees progress horizontally from left to right: starting species form the left leaves, connecting nodes represent intermediate generations, and the goal species anchors the right edge. When a plan reuses an intermediate child produced in an earlier tier, the branch references that preceding step.
Species with exclusive unique combination requirements cannot be generated through regular power averaging. If a target shows no valid route, your collection lacks the mandatory ancestor species; consult the breeding calculator for full pairing requirements.
— Egg tiers and incubation
Each generation yields an egg matching the offspring's primary element. Egg dimensions correspond to species rarity: rarity 1 to 4 produces regular eggs (12× faster base incubation rate than huge eggs), rarity 5 to 7 yields large eggs (2× base rate), and rarity 8 or higher produces huge eggs. World settings (such as "Time (h) to incubate Massive Egg") scale overall incubation duration, while the incubator temperature rates modify incubation velocity from 0.75× up to 2.0×.
| SPECIES ELEMENT | EGG VARIANT |
|---|---|
| Dark | |
| Dragon | |
| Electric | |
| Fire | |
| Grass | |
| Ground | |
| Ice | |
| Neutral | |
| Water |
Higher size tiers prepend size designations (Large or Huge) to the element name. Dual-element species inherit the egg variant associated with their primary elemental type.
— Passive trait inheritance
Path finding charts species genealogy. Passive traits roll independently for every produced egg: 1 to 4 passives are inherited from the parents' pooled distinct traits with weighted odds (40%, 30%, 20%, and 10%), followed by potential random trait additions. The breeding calculator calculates inheritance odds and expected eggs for target passive combinations.
